The city will begin accepting Christmas trees for recycling on January 3rd and January 10th (Eight Streets recycling days). Trees ned to have everything removed form them (lights, tinsel, etc), and cannot be in those tree removal bags (take the bag off once the tree is on the curb). Trees put out this Saturday will be taken away as trash and not recycled (remember, trash collection is delayed one day this week - pickup is on Saturday, Dec 31).
