SE Garden Tour this weekend!

A reminder that the South End Garden Tour is this Saturday, June 19th. This year the tour is on the Western end of the South End, in an area roughly bounded by Tremont St. --> West Newton St. -->Harrison Ave. --> Northampton St. and beyond. “The tour will feature many beautiful, diverse gardens in the South End - from pocket-sized patio spaces to rooftop terraces to neighborhood parks and community gardens.” The tour is also the major fundraiser for SELROSLT, a nonprofit organization that supports local pocket parks and community gardens.

Tickets are available now, or the day of the tour. Complete event info can be found on the Garden Tour Web Site. I hope you get a chance to hit the tour – it’s a great way to see many of the hidden gardens in the neighborhood – and Saturday is predicted to be great weather!!

Note – I got an email this morning that they are still looking for volunteers to help with the tour. Volunteers work on the tour for a 2 hour shift – and get to attend the tour for free! See the web site for contact information
