Clearly this "Bosguy" has no clue. This building/idea is way to large. This is a residential neighborhood, not downtown crossing. I wonder if this was built across the street from bosguy's home if he'd still sing the praises. Also, despite what the developer says this will impact the gardens as well as traffic negatively. The scale is so disproportionate to the surroundings. Development of this corner is a welcome sight, however this is too much. BRA initially approved building 70 feet, how & when did this change?! For those of us who live in this block, I'm in favor of a petition to keep the height at 70'. Why is it necessary to make such a huge structure for office space? Clearly by all the lease vacancies throughout the city, there is not need to add more vacant space. This type of structure closer to the highway or near the pike on ramps seems a more reasonable space. Now you've built up a huge shelter for heroin addicts/dealers to hide behind. The security that this developer spoke of was a joke! He mentioned it would be well lit all around the bldg. Oh great, so then the dealers can see better while transacting.
