June business meeting

Our next monthly Eight Streets business meeting will be this Wednesday, June 5th in the Boston Ballet  (corner of Warren & Clarendon streets)

usual meeting format:

6:30-7 - Neighborhood Networking.   Meet your neighbors in an informal setting. 
7-8:30 - Business meeting.  

On the agenda this month:

• Request to support existing capacity for the Franklin Café.
• 10 Bond Street - seeking support for a roof deck on the real L.
• 294 Shawmut - returning to seek support for increasing height of rear L.
• Open member discussion.

The Franklin café is seeking a vote to support their current existing capacity.  Due to a paperwork issue, a capacity increase approved years ago was never filed.  This vote would be to support the capacity that you see today - they are not looking to increase or expand. 

294 Shawmut did not have abutter support when they visited us last.  Mr. Nurse has since met with abutters and is ready to bring a new design back to the NA.


This is also the last meeting until September.   Look for some events in the summer, and see you at the next business meeting in September!
